Ambassador responsibilities
Responsibilities as an Ambassador to your local Les Roches Alumni Chapter:
- LEADERSHIP & ETIQUETTE: Lead the local Chapter with pride and appropriate etiquette.
- WELCOME & ONBOARDING: Welcome new alumni to the chapter and serve as the first point of contact for alumni in your area, especially those relocating.
- RELATIONSHIP BUILDING: Develop and maintain positive relationships with every member.
- ONLINE COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT: Manage an online social community for alumni in your area to connect, share experiences/knowledge, and professional networks.
- PLATFORM UTILIZATION: Encourage local alumni to register and actively use the Alumni platform (alumni.lesroches.edu).
- INFORMATION DISSEMINATION: Keep alumni in your chapter updated with the latest news from the school, Alumni Association, and Alumni Engagement Team.
- CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Identify and develop career opportunities for the alumni community by collaborating with fellow alumni employers, the Alumni Engagement Teams (AET) and Career Development (CDIP) teams.
- INTERN SUPPORT: Be a point of contact for interns on an internship in your chapter and include them in alumni events where appropriate.
- EVENT ORGANIZATION: Organize and host 2-3 events a year (Digital, Professional, and Social) adhering to the Ambassador Toolkit guidelines.
- SPONSORSHIP: Work on obtaining sponsorship from local businesses to finance events and alumni businesses to support the community.
- NETWORK: Liaise with other Alumni Ambassadors within Les Roches and Glion networks.
- PROMOTION OF LES ROCHES VALUES: Promote and live by the Les Roches Way of Life for Life.
Responsibilities as an Ambassador to the LRAA (Les Roches Alumni Association):
- FEEDBACK & REPORTING: Regularly send feedback to the LRAA and AET concerning events, alumni profile updates, success stories, and student engagement.
- LOCAL ALUMNI IDENTIFICATION: Identify alumni based in your local area, build a relationship and invite them into the Chapter group.
- SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT: Encourage alumni to join official Les Roches Alumni Pages/Groups on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Continuously update and engage with alumni in your local Facebook group.
- SUPPORT ASSOCIATION GOALS: Support LRAA in achieving association goals, such as ticket sales for events and new initiatives.
- PROMOTION: Share/promote LRAA-related posts/messages/activities.
- EVENT PLANNING: Inform the LRAA Committee and the AET at least 8 weeks in advance of planned events.
- REPRESENTATION: Proudly represent the LRAA/Les Roches at events and provide information to new alumni and potential students.
Responsibilities as an Ambassador to the AET (Alumni Engagement Team):
- EVENT PLANNING: Inform the LRAA Committee and the AET at least 8 weeks in advance of planned events.
- MARKETING SUPPORT: Reach out to the AET for support on marketing requirements for events and alumni outreach.
- JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Feed job opportunities into the AET to promote on the alumni platform.
- SUCCESS STORIES: Inform the AET about alumni professional success stories and new appointments.
- LOCAL ENROLMENT TEAM SUPPORT & COLLABORATION: Develop and maintain relationships with local Enrolment Teams to support alumni contact at recruitment/admission events.
- EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT: Support local Educational Counselors by attending seminars to network with potential students and their parents.
- ALUMNI RECOMMENDATIONS: Recommend suitable alumni for enrolment/recruitment activities organized by the field sales team.
