FAQ’s

1. What support do I get from the school?
The dedicated Alumni Engagement Team (AET) supports the LRAA in the Ambassador program and supports any events or recruitment activities undertaken by the Ambassador in each Chapter. The AET is available any time by email to provide guidance and marketing support, answer questions and deal with any issues arising. Full contact details are in this document.
2. Who provides the funding for the events?
Events can be funded by Alumni or partly funded by the Les Roches Alumni Association under given terms and conditions. To submit a funding request the Alumni Ambassador Event Funding Request Form must be filled in and sent to alumni@lesroches.edu 8 weeks prior to the event taking place.

3. Can I connect with other Ambassadors?
Ambassadors are invited to join a closed group on the Alumni platform and a private group on WhatsApp to network with each other, share best practices and give advice to new Ambassadors. You will be given access to the groups upon taking up the role.
4. How much time will I need to commit to the role?
Chapter events are ideally held twice a year and should encompass professional as well as social events. Events typically take six to eight weeks to arrange, from booking the venue to executing the event itself and feeding back to the Alumni Team after the event. Prospective student inquiries generally occur between three and ten times per year. Related requests from the Alumni Team occur one to two times per year.

5. Can I set up a group on a social networking site?
The AET will provide you with a pre-created Facebook group for your Chapter, along with a WhatsApp Community Group, with approved branding and guidance on tone of voice, and social media rules. Ambassadors are responsible for populating the groups with content and encouraging relevant alumni of that chapter to become members.
6. What if I can’t continue in the role?
We understand that other commitments might make it difficult for Ambassadors to continue in the role; once you have notified the LRAA of your intention, you are able to give up the role without having to find someone else to take it on – although recommendations would be great!
If you cannot continue in your role email us at alumni@lesroches.edu.
