Selection Considerations

1. Engagement and Enthusiasm

The Alumni Ambassador candidate demonstrates a genuine passion for Les Roches and its community, actively participates in alumni social media groups, alumni events and shows enthusiasm for engaging with fellow alumni and current students. An alumni who was previously a Student Ambassador would be a great addition!

2. Regional Connectivity

The Alumni Ambassador candidate is well-connected within their local region, with a strong network of fellow alumni. They have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate. And having experience in organising events/activities would be helpful, but is not a requirement.

3. Professional Experience

The Alumni Ambassador candidate is established in their career with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience. Demonstrates a willingness and ability to mentor and/or support younger alumni and recent graduates.

4. Leadership and Initiative

The Alumni Ambassador candidate demonstrates reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They are able to inspire others, possess good leadership qualities and are comfortable speaking in public while representing Les Roches at various events. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must.

5. Commitment and Availability

The Alumni Ambassador role is a voluntary role, but they must be willing to commit a certain number of hours per month, to ambassador duties. The candidate needs to be reliable and responsive to communication from the LRAA, Alumni Team and fellow ambassadors.

6. Values and Integrity

The Alumni Ambassador candidate must, at all times, maintain a high standard of professionalism, maturity and integrity in all interactions. They must respect diversity and foster an inclusive environment within the alumni community, and embody the values of Les Roches, promoting excellence and camaraderie.
